Sale of Chametz

Sale of Chametz

Sell by: Thursday, April 21

It is traditional not only to put your leavened products out of sight during Passover, but also to sell them through a Rabbi to a non-Jew. This is done in order to fulfill the commandment of not owning any Chametz.*

Please submit the signed form by April 9, 2017. You need not finish cleaning by the time you mail your form.

*Note: Ideally, one should meet with a rabbi in person to arrange for the sale of one's chometz. For those that can't meet a Rabbi in person, we offer the option of selling your chometz online with this form. This form can also be printed and faxed to 516-295-7840 or mailed to: Chabad of the Five Towns 74 Maple Ave. Cedarhurst, NY 11516
We cannot accept responsibility for any forms received after April 21
